316L surgical grade stainless steel with a black DLC finish. Machined to ±0.1mm tolerances on functional dimensions. Every lever is inspected by hand before it ships.

A direct upgrade for the Hario Switch lever. DLC is an exceptionally hard carbon-based coating - resistant to scratching, heat, and coffee oils.

The fit is exact. Curves and bevels were refined through testing to promote smooth drawdown and prevent post-brew retention.

Compatible with Hario Switch bases; inclusive of dripper sizes 01, 02, 03 & Mugen.

This product includes only the metal lever. Brewer not included. Independently designed for compatibility and performance. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Hario Co., Ltd.

On variation

Made in small batches. Metal forming, machining, hand finishing and coating each leave their mark.

Expect variation between pieces, and variation across a single piece. Surface texture is not uniform. The brushed grain can run deeper in one area than another. Coating tone can shift along the length of a lever. Fine machining marks and coating texture are visible on close inspection.

None of this affects fit or function. It is normal and expected.

Current run note

The current Black DLC run may carry light fixture contact marks on the concealed underside, where the coating jig held each piece. Marking varies between pieces. They sit below the silicone line and are not visible once installed. The show face is unaffected.
