The Hario Ceramic Switch 02 in Smokey Black, assembled with a GoodSwitch Nocturne lever.

316L surgical grade stainless steel with a black DLC finish. Machined to ±0.1mm tolerances on functional dimensions. DLC is one of the hardest coatings applied to metal. Scratch resistant, fade resistant, and non-reactive.

Ships assembled and tested. The lever seats exactly as designed, controlling the ball valve with a clean, consistent snap. Brew immersion or pour over from day one.

316L adds molybdenum to the alloy, improving corrosion resistance against the chlorides present in water. The same grade used in medical implants and food processing equipment.
