316L stainless steel with a hand brushed finish. Machined to ±0.1mm tolerances on functional dimensions.
A direct upgrade for the Hario Switch lever. Stainless steel won’t warp, stain, or degrade under heat or coffee oils.
The fit is exact. The lever controls a ball valve and tolerances matter. Curves and bevels were refined through testing to promote smooth drawdown and minimize post-brew retention.
✅ Fits Hario Switch 01, 02, 03 and the Mugen Switch
Slight variations in texture and machining marks may occur between pieces.
This product includes only the metal lever. Brewer not included. Independently designed for compatibility and performance. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Hario Co., Ltd.

The quality is top notch, the fitting is exact and it's easy to replace the original plastic Hario lever. It is expensive but it is worth it in my opinion, and makes my coffee making less plasticky and more refined. This lever will outlast my Hario switch so I highly recommend!
Steve, glad to hear the Classic lever is earning its
place. 'Top notch quality' and 'worth it' are
the kind of words that mean a lot coming from
someone who clearly knows their gear. Enjoy the upgrade.
I love this lever, it fits perfectly and will not wear over time. It looks and sounds great, with a little metal plink as the lever engages against the ball bearing on the switch. The quality is fantastic, and it looks better than plastic.
'Brilliant upgrade' is high praise, Steve.
Thank you for taking the time to write the reviews. Glad the lever is doing what
it's meant to do.
This switch is an excellent replacement for the original plastic piece. It fits perfectly and has a nice tactile feel when pressed. It is, however, a bit too pricey, being that it triples the cost of the Hario Switch itself.
Thank you for the honest review. Glad the fit and
feel landed.
Each lever is finished and inspected by hand across
several passes before it ships, and the ones that
don't meet the standard get pulled. That work is
what the price reflects. Appreciate you giving it
a try.
